June 6
Deputies responded to a panic alarm at a Jackson business. It was determined to be a false alarm.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop in Des Moines Township. As a result, the driver was issued a citation for disobeying the stop sign at the intersection of County Road 10 and County Road 14.
A deputy on routine patrol noticed a vehicle driving on a grassy area off the parking lot at the EconoLodge. After investigating, a 41-year-old male driver from Askov was arrested for third-degree DUI.
A deputy assisted the Jackson Ambulance with a medical call.

June 7
A deputy responded to a report of a stalled semi near the intersection of County Road 34 and County Road 17. The deputy gave the driver a ride to a store to purchase DEF fuel, which fixed the issue.

Deputies responded to a commercial burglary alarm in Jackson. It was determined to be a false alarm.

June 8
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at Anderson Park.

Deputies attended the Public Works Day at Ashley Park and let kids see the interior of the squad car and some of the equipment.

June 9
Deputies and the Alpha Fire Department responded to a semi on fire on I-90 just into Martin County. Eastbound I-90 was closed for more than an hour. Crews were on scene for about two hours.

June 10
A deputy responded to three juveniles out past curfew in Jackson.
A jailer transported a 47-year-old male to the St. Cloud prison for a drug-related conviction.
A deputy responded to what was determined to be a civil issue between a paint contractor and a customer.
A deputy responded to what was determined to be a civil issue over the sale of a vehicle.
A deputy responded to a report of a dog-at-large in Jackson.
Deputies and sheriff’s reserves assisted with traffic control for the youth Tri-for-Health in Jackson.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on I-90 near Lakefield. As a result, a citation was issued for speed — 97 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on County Road 34 near Highway 86. As a result, a citation was issued for an instruction permit violation.

June 11
Deputies responded to a report of homeowners awakening to the sounds of their house window getting broken. Deputies located a 30-year-old female hiding in the area and later transported her to Sanford-Jackson Medical Center for injuries to her arm. The matter remains under investigation.
Deputies and the sheriff’s reserves assisted with traffic control for the adult Tri-for-Health in Jackson.
A deputy responded to a report from a Jackson resident who found a wooden desk, dishwasher and washing machine in the yard. The homeowner suspects someone picked up those items earlier during the citywide cleanup, decided not to want them and dumped them.
