January, Monday 14. 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM DIY Recycles Sweater Mittens Who: Youth and Adults Give new life to your favorite old sweaters by turning them into warm, winter mittens! Maybe you've seen cute, recycled mittens at craft fairs and thought, 'I could do that!' Well, here's your chance. Bring in your old, worn-out sweaters (felted or washed wool works best) and an old T-shirt or sweatshirt that can be used as a liner and leave with a new pair of mittens! Participants will need to provide their own sewing machine (or you can sew by hand). Other materials provided. Pre-registration is required. Please call 507-662-5064 or email marilyn@ecologybus.org
