Immanuel VBS starts Monday
Fun songs, crafts, games, snacks, a Bible lesson and a real rootin’ tootin’ cowboy supper with doggies — hot doggies, that is — plus chips and good old-fashioned baked beans just like the cowpokes served around the campfire each evening will all be part of this year’s “Circle J Ranch” vacation Bible school program at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
The fun starts Monday, Aug. 2.
“We will be having our vacation Bible school starting Monday, Aug. 2, through Thursday, Aug. 5, both inside and outside Immanuel Lutheran Church and school with a cowboy theme this year,” said Jovita Nack, who is directing this year’s VBS along with Allison Hendrickson. “VBS is open to all children from ages 3 through sixth grade. It will start at 3 p.m. each day and go until 5:30 p.m.”
The cost of Immanuel Lutheran’s VBS is born by the church, thanks to its membership, and all children attending do so at no cost to them or their families.
Those interested in registering may contact church secretary Connie Rossow either in person or by phone at 662-5860.
