Three people were injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident Monday afternoon southeast of Lakefield.
Kody Burmeister, 16; Jayden Montz, 15; and Alyssa Paulson, 15; all of rural Lakefield, sustained various injuries in the one-vehicle rollover.
Jackson Fire Department and Ambulance Service personnel were dispatched to the scene of the crash on 810th Street about three-quarters of a mile west of County Road 17 shortly before 3:30 p.m. A mutual aid request to the Lakefield Ambulance Service went out from the scene at 3:34 p.m.
Three crash victims were transported by ambulance to Sanford Jackson Medical Center. Two were airlifted to Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, S.D., shortly thereafter.
