Pregnant women and pre-school children in Jackson County have a chance to get the H1N1 flu vaccine for free Tuesday afternoon.

Cottonwood-Jackson Community Health Service will set up two area clinics for the latest batch of H1N1 flu shots, in Jackson and Windom.

The targeted group of recipients for this clinic will be pregnant women and children born before Nov. 16, 2005, and not yet attending school. This group is age 4, 5 and 6 years old. Vaccinations are free and all children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Vaccine availability will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

In Jackson, the clinic will hosted in the Jackson County Central Performing Arts Center Community Room from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

In Windom, the clinic will be at the Windom Area High School Eagle Gymnasium (please use the west entrance) from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
