Shooting reported in Okabena
Local emergency responders were called to the scene of a shooting Thursday afternoon in Okabena.
Shortly before 3:35 p.m. Thursday, the Okabena First Responders were paged to 216 N. Front St. in Okabena to a report of a gunshot wound to the chest. Indications were that it was self-inflicted.
The Heron Lake Ambulance Service was also paged and raced from the scene at 3:45 p.m.
The Okabena First Responders cleared the scene at 3:53 p.m.
